Here’s a look at The Flood Watch issued by The NWS, for parts of Southern New England. Rainfall totals expected to reach up to 4″-6″ for some parts, and it is much welcomed considering The Severe Drought Warning that had been issued last week. Wind speeds are also expected to cause some problems, as gusts are expected to reach up to 35mph.
Accumulated liquid totals for SNE exceeded 4″, so it looks like we could use another good rainfall to make up for the lack of precipitation this year. Here’s a look at a color enhanced IR image of the storm moving up the coast.
