Fall Temps In The Northeast? Not So Fast!

If you are wanting cool Fall like temperatures in the Northeast then you will have to wait a little while longer. 

Autumn officially arrives on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 10:21 a.m. EDT, but fall conditions will wait until this weekend to invade the northeastern United States.High temperatures much of this week will run about 10 degrees Fahrenheit above average. In some cases, highs will be 15 degrees above average. In many cases, nighttime lows will be 5-10 degrees above average through Friday.

For example, in New York City, temperatures typically range from a low near 60 to a high in the middle 70s during the third week of September. Highs most days this week will be the lower to middle 80s with lows well into the 60s. September could be one of the hottest months on record. Stay cool and hydrated. ~Nicholas
